Ozotic: 505

I can't believe I haven't posted about this polish before! This is my hands down favourite shade of my entire collection. This uninspiringly named offering is from the multichrome masters at Ozotic.

This is a true multichrome, shifting from deep green through to blue, purple and even pinkish and goldish tones at an extreme angle. It is the most beautiful polish I own.

505 requires black or 'almost always looks black' underwear to show its true beauty. I usually apply two coats to make the colours appear more intense.

Like a lot of multichromes this is quite difficult to photograph well. There are plenty of blogs out there with better pictures than these ones but I think I've at least given a hint of 505's gorgeousness.

This polish was tragically discontinued recently and is no longer available from Picture Polish, although they have many other lovely shades.

What is your all time fav polish?

Ozotic - Elytra 528 and 529 over Butter London - Royal Navy

Butter London - Royal Navy is a beautiful navy blue creme, perfectly shiny and opaque in two coats. It's topped with Ozotic Elytra 528 and 529, which turned beautiful into AMAZING!

Why does Elytra hate my camera? I tried and tried to get a picture that does justice to this stunning layered mani, but it just wasn't to be. In reality this is far more sparkly and gorgeous, but you get the idea.

Any tips on photographing this type of polish?

Ozotic - 520

Ozotic. Any lacquer lunatic that isn't living under a rock has at least seen swatches of their divine polishes. If you are lucky enough to live in Australia, where they are made, or willing to pay high postage prices you probably have at least one shade.

When I heard that the multichrome 500 series was being discontinued I stocked up. 520 is a dark red, orange and gold colour shifting beauty. In direct, bright light it mostly appears a lovely burnt orange but in indirect sunlight there are so many facets of colour it's distracting, in a great way.
The picture below is in indirect sunlight.

As always, this is two coats of 520 layered over a dark base. I used China Glaze - Midnight Ride this time as it is opaque in one coat and one of those 'almost always looks black' shades.

Beautiful.

Ozotic - 526

This is Ozotic's black holo.

I couldn't get a focused picture to show the sparkle of this polish, but you get the idea from the photo below.

Scattered holo sparkle in a black creme. This is the only Ozotic polish I own that I could probably live without. I love it, but I think I could achieve the same result with a black creme topped with a sparkly holo topcoat like China Glaze - Fairy Dust or Kleancolor - Mr Right.

Ozotic - 503

Picture Polish recently sent me an email stating that they had some of this shade for sale. Seeing as how it was long discontinued I jumped at the chance to own some.

Just like the rest of the 500 series multichromes this shade is best over black, or another suitably dark colour. I used two coats of Revlon - Blackest Black and two thin costs of 503.

503 shifts from a beautiful emerald green to lighter green to silver to a light pink. In the photos there is even a hint of purple, but in reality it wasn't visible.

Ozotic 509

Just two costs of Ozotic 509.

Shiny, shiny goodness.
