I've recently bought a few yellow polishes. Before purchasing them I thought that yellow wasn't for me but after giving them a go I have changed my mind. Such a happy, warm colour.
Today I've created a yellow gradient by using Essence - Wanna Be Your Sunshine as a base. Then I sponged Rimmel - Lemon Drop about halfway up the nail and then China Glaze - Snow on the tips. Top coat with Cult Nails - Wicked Fast.
I really like the way this turned out.
What do you think?

China Glaze - No Plain Jane. Bohemian Collection.
My last swatch of the Bohemian Collection!
No Plain Jane is a mid purple/pink/orange colour shifting polish. It's a little bit frosty, a lot metallic and one of my favourites of this collection.
Which is your fav?

China Glaze - Want My Bawdy. Bohemian Collection.
Second last polish of the Bohemian Collection by China Glaze.
This one is not a colour shifter, but it's a lovely shade. More purple than it appears here, with a metallic finish and brushstrokes only slightly visivle in strong light. Opaque in two coats.
Lovely.

China Glaze - Rare and Radiant, Deviantly Daring
I love accent manicures. I love any excuse to wear more than one colour at one time.
Today I'm wearing China Glaze - Rare and Radiant and Deviantly Daring.
Rare and Radiant is a rich gold and green shifting duochrone. It's a tiny bit brush stroky, but it doesn't matter to me. There are at least three other polishes available that are near dupes for this one. Chanel - Peridot, Catrice - Genius in the Bottle and OPI - Just Sotted The Lizard are all very similar.
I don't own any other gold polishes. I like this one.
Im also wearing China Glaze - Deviantly Daring, a beautiful teal green metallic. I don't want to call this one a duochrome as I can't see any colour shift, even in the bottle. This polish is beautiful.
I love these two shades together. I think they compliment each other nicely. What do you think?

Glittery Goodness: Lush Lacquer - Lite Brite over China Glaze - HappyGo Lucky
China Glaze - Happy Go Lucky, 2 coats with 1 coat of Lush Lacquer - Lite Brite + topcoat.
Happy go lucky really is primary yellow. It's such a cheerful colour. It also stains your nails and cuticles a little. Lite Brite is a clear base packed with glitter. There's some ?silver microglitter. Orange, blue and red hex glitter. Purple and green square glitter. Yellow and pink large hex glitter.
I added some thinner to all my Lush Lacquer bottles and I think it has really improved application.
Happy nails.

Nail Art - Water Marbling Rainbow
There are plenty of tutorials out there on water marbling. It's not a hard technique but it is also not easy to get the beautiful results you see online. It's also a fairly time consuming exercise. I attempted this on four nails but only got a satisfactory result on one so I painted the others in rainbow skittles.
The colors I used here are:
OPI: Red Light District
China Glaze:
Breakin
Happy Go Lucky
Entourage
Sky High-Tops
Sorry about the cuticles/fingers. I should have washed the acetone off before I took the picture.

China Glaze - Swanky Silk. Bohemian Collection
The second polish I'm trying from the new Bohemian Collection. This one is a light pink/gold metallic duochrome. It's a bit sheer, needing 3 coats for opacity. Somewhat brushstrokey, but this did reduce as the polish dried, leaving minor, but slightly visible strokes. Dare I call this polish a frost?
Swanky Silk is an understated, flattering colour. It's interesting without screaming LOOK AT ME! I will definitely wear this polish again.

China Glaze - Unpredictable. Bohemian Collection
My order of the entire Bohemian Collection arrived about an hour ago. I had just done my nails. Hmmm, what to do?
Needless to say, I got my acetone out and changed my polish of course!
The first colour I'm wearing as a full manicure is Unpredictable. It is a gold/green/teal/blue multichrome and it's beautiful.
This is 3 coats of Unpredictable. It does take a few coats to build up colour, but the result is well worth it. It looked a little streaky going on, but that faded with drying.
I'll probably post the rest of this collection over the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned...

China Glaze - Exotic Cranberry
I bought this shade about six months ago from ProNail Supplies at Bankstown. It's a very deep berry pink that looks red in some lights. It has an almost jelly like finish, but is too opaque to really be a jelly in my mind. Application is utter perfection. It's easy and smooth to apply and dries to a ridiculously shiny finish.
When I googled this shade I found out that it was released in 2005! I am amazed that a polish that is seven years old is still in such good condition. Maybe it's the formaldehyde or the toluene or the DBP.
That's right ladies, the big bad three are all here in all their shiny, perfect glory.
Same polish, different light

Nail Art - Dotty Gradient
I was inspired to do this manicure by the blog Pretty Purple Polish. The dotty manicure there was so pretty, I had to try something similar.
I used a base coat of China Glaze - Snow and topped it with dots in a sort of gradient. I used (in order of light to dark) OPI - Red Light District, Essence - Fateful Desire and China Glaze - Smoke and Ashes. I used 3 sizes of dotting tool from my new MASH set.
When I put the topcoat on I unfortunately got a little bit of streaking.
I love it!

China Glaze - Snow
White creme. Opaque in two coats.
I applied this as a base for some nail art and surprised myself by liking it on its own. I think I'll like it even more in summer.
What do you think? Do you like white polish?

Nail Art - Cloudy Sky
I received my Mash stamping plates in the mail today. So many beautiful designs! I'm disappointed that my order was incomplete. I ordered four other items that weren't in the package. I've sent Mash an email, hopefully they'll let me know what's happening soon.
Two coats of Essie - Cote Azure, stamped with China Glaze - Snow. I used the cloud design from Mash-37.
This is my first attempt at stamping. I'm pretty happy with it.

China Glaze - Let's Groove
My favorite purple nail lacquer. It's a metallic royal purple that glows from within. No brush strokes, great formula, applies perfectly in two coats. I've topped it here with Seche Vite because I'm impatient, but it's wonderfully shiny on it's own.
It was only when I saw this color in person that I had to have it. Pictures online don't really do it justice. My pictures here are no exception. I just can't get a color accurate photo on this polish. It's far more beautiful in reality. More royal purple, lighter.
I need to work on my photography.
